According to latest reports, at least 280 people died and over 900 were injured in an accident on Friday, June 2, after a collision occurred between three trains the Coromandel Express, the Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express & a freight train.
The Coromandel Express operates between Bengal’s Shalimar station in West Bengal and Chennai. The collision took place near Bahanaga railway station, resulting in a significant number of casualties among the passengers.
